Will Van Camp joined The Numad Group in spring 2023. As a communications associate, Will collaborates with clients to bring their stories to life through media releases, magazine features, first-person editorials, and more.

Will earned his Ph.D. in Literary Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2023; his dissertation focused on the British Romantic poets and present-day work in the field of Black Studies. During this time, Will also worked as a producer for Holding History, a UW humanities program that brings student and public audiences into rare book archives. Here, Will produced the Holding History Podcast, served as editor of the Bookish Blog, and managed the program’s marketing and outreach.

At UW, Will also worked as a writing tutor, course instructor, and student advisor. He is the recipient of a UW-Madison Center for the Humanities HEX Grant for his work with local non-profits as well as the Eighteenth-Century Fiction Anti-Racist Pedagogy Award in 2023. His writing has appeared in a range of academic journals and online literary outlets.  

As a scholar, writer, and producer, Will specializes in research, creative collaboration, and communicating clearly and succinctly in a variety of formats and tones. He is passionate about building relationships with our non-profit clients and working with them to tell exciting and effective stories.

Will lives in Floyd County, Virginia, with his partner and their dog, Sauvie. When he’s not writing, Will loves to be working in the garden, listening to live music, or volunteering with local animal welfare groups.
