In the theater industry, we often think of summertime as the slow time--the chance to close out the previous production season, put together the next season, and perhaps even take a vacation.
But let me tell you: Our off-Broadway and regional theater clients are more busy than ever before, making big plans for big seasons. I'm shoulder-deep in designing season brochures and direct mail pieces and emails and digital ads for a number of our super awesome arts clients.
And I'm pretty excited about what we're creating together.
I just got home from a trip to New York City and Washington, D.C., for work and on my desk was an envelope from Primary Stages. Their new season acquisition piece just landed in mailboxes all around the East Coast. I'm super happy with the end result. We did a bit of a brand refresh for the new season--their first full season at their new location... er, their new home... in the West Village.
Phil Haas, the company's director of marketing, put together some outstanding copy for the brochure that inspired the refreshed design. Take a look, and check out details about their season at www.primarystages.org.
In the coming weeks, we'll see season pieces for our other clients landing in mailboxes as well. I can't wait to finish them up.
